Their Story

From Plano to Off-Grid Aspiration

Randall and Robbie live in suburban Plano, Texas ... in the middle of one of the most connected, convenience-dependent places in America.

Like a lot of families who pay attention, they started asking the obvious question: what happens when any of that breaks?

Not in a doomer way. In a stewardship way. The answer wasn't to panic or to sell the house and move to the woods. It was to start building resilience where they stood ... food depth, water filtration, backup power, medical supplies, relationships with neighbors, knowledge and skills.

The long-term vision is off-grid. The current reality is suburban. Fortified Living is the bridge.

Spent years watching the preparedness space split between the tacticool fear-sellers and the “just trust God” crowd with three cans of soup in the pantry. Neither extreme is biblical, and neither is practical.

Fortified Living is the thing Randall wished existed when he started taking family readiness seriously ... honest gear reviews, practical guides, and faith-rooted analysis with no hype.
